Information on Handling Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
- In accordance with Article 37(1) of the Act of September 11, 2015, on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), we are obliged to accept waste equipment from households free of charge at the point of sale, provided that the waste equipment is of the same type and served the same function as the equipment being sold.
- As a distributor, when delivering household equipment to you, we are obliged to collect waste equipment from households free of charge at the delivery location, provided that the waste equipment is of the same type and served the same function as the delivered equipment.
- Furthermore, we inform you that distributors operating retail units with a sales area of at least 400 m² (dedicated to the sale of household equipment, as defined by Article 2(19) of the Act of March 27, 2003, on Spatial Planning and Development) are required to accept waste equipment from households free of charge. This applies to equipment with no external dimension exceeding 25 cm and does not require the purchase of new household equipment.
- Customers can also return waste equipment to a designated collection point. Information about the nearest collection point can be found on the municipal website or the noticeboard of the City/Municipal Office. In addition, the city of Rzeszów provides special containers for electronic waste disposal. The nearest electronic waste container is located at Żwirki i Wigury 7.
